Book Review: Gone Girl

Title: Gone Girl

Author: Gillian Flynn

Genre: Adult Mystery

Release Date: January 3, 2013

Pages: 475

My Rating: 3.5 stars

Synopsis: A woman and man have a rocky marriage, and then the wife disappears. Of course, the husband is the main suspect of her disappearance. All the evidence found is pointing straight to him. But did he really do it?

My Thoughts: I don’t see all the hype. It definitely took a turn that I wasn’t expecting, which I did enjoy…but it was found out mid-book, and then the kicker, really, was finding out how it all plays out, really. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending. I was pretty invested in the story and it kept me enthralled til the plot twist was all figured out, and the last 25 pages were practically boring.

**SPOILER WARNING** DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED!!
