Synopsis: Juliette is living in a dying world, one that has been taken over by a strict, cruel commander. She, among others, have special powers…but hers is lethal. Her very skin kills anyone that she dares to touch. Her family had her put away because of it, and she is only released to the commander’s son to be used as a weapon against those just like her, in order to help keep their reign. War breaks out, the people rebel…but Juliette has to either learn to live with and accept her power, or succumb to being an empty shell that is controlled by someone else.

My Thoughts: I read Shatter Me and the Destroy Me novella over a year ago, and then just recently finished the last 2 novels and Fracture Me novella. First book was good, hooked me in. I did not like Destroy Me very well, as that comes from the perspective of Warner (the commander’s son). Having read these so long ago, it was hard for me to get into Unravel Me, and I felt like not too much really happened, and it dragged a bit. Took a long time for me to get through it. By the end, it finally hooked me in, so I could get through the last novella and book of the series. I think the last book is the best of the series. Lots of action of course! The best part though is a side character, Kenji. My high rating for the last book is definitely due to his comic relief. I’d have rated it a bit lower, 3.5-4 otherwise. Overall, good series, glad I finally completed it.
