Book Review: Nora & Kettle

NKTitle: Nora & Kettle

Author: Lauren Nicholle Taylor

Release Date: February 29, 2016

Book in Series: 1 of 2

Pages: 355

My Rating: 2 stars

Synopsis:
A teenage girl fights for life against an abusive father. A teenage boy fights for his life on the streets. What they do not realize is that they are more alike than they think.

My Thoughts:
I didn’t really care for this, and I am slightly disappointed by that. I felt the first quarter/third was a bit slow, I felt it lingered in the same spot, showing us the same things, telling us the same ideas. Until the 2 characters finally met, and things finally continued. I wish we had had just a little bit more, at the end, to confirm the outcome of one more character. I did like how all these characters unknowingly intermingled before their paths finally converged, it kept me reading to find out how they would finally come together.

I will not be reading the 2nd book of this series.
